Absolute Perfection!
Exactly what refried beans are suppressed to be! I struggled for years to find refried beans that didn’t have added spices like garlic and chili powder, (I mean if I wanted chili beans I would buy just that) so I had to make my own and can them, that is so time consuming! Then I found LaPreferida!! Pure Perfection, Authentic! Exactly like homemade!

These beans taste like the ones at a little mom & pop Mexican restaurant. Half a can serving contains about 1/3 your daily recommended salt intake, and about 2 gm saturated fat, but a lot of taste and a lot of healthy plant protein and fiber.
Refried Beans
These are the good natural kind, with a wonderful rich taste and not a bunch of extra ingredients. I just love these beans. My secret is frying them in salted butter and topping them with chopped vidalia onions. Maybe even sprinkling with some shredded Sargento Authentic Mexican Cheese. So good!

At 58 years old i have always been looking for the flavor of moms bean burritos, i purchased a can of these a few weeks ago, made a bean and cheese burrito and was blown away by the flavor, I have purchased 6 more cans since then. Thanks La Preferida.
Great product!
I ordered a case of the La Preferida refried beans because the local grocery stores were constantly out or only had 1 or 2 cans. They arrived in a cardboard box, and there were 12 cans, 4 of which were dented (they were not on the edge of the package but in the center, so they must have been dented when they were placed in the shipping box) but none were dented sufficiently to compromise the canning seal, so still useable. I’ve tried other brands of refried beans, and there is absolutely no comparison. I would absolutely buy again!
